Actually, if you were a samurai teh chance of you fighting a ninja would be slim to none (Most of the time you were assassinated by a shuriken while on guard duty for them to gain access). Ninjas 90% of the time would sneak around and do assassinations and what not many times fighting other ninjas, they are considered teh splincter cell of a long time ago you could say.
Samurai Pros adn Cons:
Pros:
-Big freaking sword
-Cool Clothing Line
-Towns people either respect or are scared of you
-You get paid to rome around the streets and make sure everything is as it should be until there is a war
-You get to eat damn good food
-There is no sneakyness
Cons:
-Get pwned by ninjas IF your a guard
-You can die
-You can't go see a geisha whenever you want
-you have to sleep on thin mats with a dozen others in the room...
