Err, I meant who's to say the
alien would recognize what the video camera was, it's purpose, etc etc... It wouldn't "let itself" be captured on film, but it wouldn't "not let itself" be captured on film either...
If it was captured on film, it would be because someone with a video camera happened to cross paths with it, and was able to get it out and turned on before it like... Ran away or... Bit their head off or something...
And if it
was captured on film, it might not even realize it...
