In all honesty, I thought of imposing a limit where you could only reach either the 200 limit or the 550 limit, but not both.
I expect no one to create a main signature image that large. But I realize people have quotes and things. The way it is now, with trophies, some people's post bits are big enough as it is.
I wanted to combine the growing rebellion of the signature limit with the realization that people hate scrolling. 550x200 fits on every resolution and is the best number for our style.
