I'm not saying those things are bad, and believe it or not I (Yes, little old liberal me) actually happen to believe that the conservative beliefs (rights of women, or lack thereof, education in general, the literal eye for an eye justice system, theocracy in general) held by many Muslims are, in fact, completely backwards and far inferior to western traditions. What you fail to grasp, here, is that, though they
are forward thinking, they're still rooted in western thought and philosophy and no matter what you or they say or do, they're going to be viewed by the terrorists in the same light as the truly western nations.
