1. This is the American Film Institute, not the Canadian. It doesn't matter if you or everybody you know doesn't quote Casablanca. You don't count
2. It doesn't say they
stay a part of our cultural vocabulary. And besides, the simple fact that you have heard the quotes, recognize the quotes, and can say what movie they came from means that they are part of the cultural vocabulary.
And I quoth myself, "Just because you hear more people quoting The Matrix more often doesn't change the fact that people still know quotes from Casablanca (even without knowing they're from Casablanca) 60 years after the movie's release."
