Killer Instinct on the Snes was the last real traditional fighter that i loved to bits. Ever since then i've sort of lost interest, but have found new interest in fighters like Super smash bros and Power stone, that are some of the few that seem to drift away from the norm successfully. But the fact that i loved killer instinct on the snes, just might get me to buy this. My favorite character was spinal, he kicked serious arse. And the music was excellent as well.

If this is true (which i think it is, it's been a rumour for ages now), and Rare haven't exactly jumped up to denie it at anytime. So i think it's true. I just hope they deliver an excellent game, which i have no doubt that they will. But i also hope it isn't like ever single other fighter.

But if you think about it, i think that they can make this into an excellent game and not follow the same route as ever single other fighter. In the original, the characters are all very different, some are animals, some are people. And there fighting styles are all very different, unlike SO MANY fighters today (i'm not going to point any fingers at any recent fighters, but i think you all know what i'm talking about). Theres Riptor, a caged raptor, theres spinal a skeleton warrior with a sword and shield (he has his weaopns at all times). I can't remember all the names, but theres the werewolf (whos form is always a wolf), theres the cyborg, theres many other fighters with distinct different characteristics. All with there own fighting style. I think they could really pull of a brilliant fighting game i may actually like (admitally, the fact that i loved the original is going to help, but still).
