I am doing Science at uni and to tell you the truth, out of all the scientific/medical journals I read I probably understand roughly about 10% of them.
Maybe my lack of knowledge is to be blamed but sometimes even the lecturers have no idea what the journals are talking about. So technically, there is no way for us to verify the validity of the information provided.
