They'll pull you over for whatever reason they can muster up. Once the cop saw that you were just an innocent teen, he realized it was unnecessary to give you a ticket.
I've been in similar situations, and I've just been relieved to get out of there without a ticket.

Well, yeah, it was late, so I guess I might understand. But the guy acted really oddly too. He really didn't have much of a valid reason to pull me over in my opinion. Anyway, I guess it's no big deal, I was just pissed off.
