Just as long as you don't treat a girl like you treat your footy mates, I don't see why you can't land a decent girl.
Plus, this was a someone who aggreviated you. Hell, if I were you I'd have done the same thing... I hate people who trash talk. If only I could kick a ball properly though...>.<
Okay, my retardness in sports isn't the issue here.
I reckon all you have to do is to find someone who is compatible with you. There is nothing wrong with being confident and super ambitious. Infact, those are really important attributes (I can't imagine being with a guy who wants nothing out of his life, for example) and if you find the right girl, you two can work on bringing out the best in you.
