I went through the game thinking it was a prequel to everything but as I get deep into the game, all the empires come together, and if you came in here then you probably don't care about me spoiling it for you.

It just so happens I just recruited TED from Suikoden. I entered a ghost ship and fought a boss, but the boss was really a guardian of the Soul Eater and Ted was serving him. Ted joined me after I beat him and Ted regained the Soul Eater and said he would never try to run away again. He referenced leaving the Soul Eater to Master McDohl and he regrets it.

So.. is Suikoden IV another sequel?????
