Well, its not like she was some distant girl that I asked out. She was already one of my better friends, so I think we were (are) both a little awkward in trying to figure out exactly what's going to happen now. We were already talking and stuff in English and walking together to ours 6th hours, so do we just hold hands as well not, or what? We just need to figure that out.
Also, we've already acted like we were going out a couple of times. Last year, she asked this junior to the prom just so she could actually go. He got clingy and started following her and stuff. She friends asked me if I'd pretend I was going out with her right after prom to make him go away.
So...
I, personally, think it was more of a "'bout time" type thing than a "oh my gosh!" type thing.
Maybe.
