There is now no Dust button. You hit Heavy Slash and Slash at the same time to dust. R1 is now a turn around button as you must re-orientate yourself because the game doesn't turn you around.
I think Instant Kills are gone now, and I think a lot of the overdrives have been removed... Not entirely sure. Oh well.

I got the game in the mail today (thanks DM), and I must say that things have NOT changed for the worst, and Isuka doesn't suck.
The only reason you would think it sucks is if you are expecting a game trying to be like a serious sequal to Guilty Gear X2. It's not. It's a party game meant to just have fun. Serious fighting game fans who are only interested in strict tournament competition should look elsewhere...perhaps GGX2, even.
I felt like the game was a mix between SSMB and GGX2, very bizarre, yet fun. There are a few new characters, and new character colors. The Boost mode is entertaining, and I love being able to shift planes in my matches. And I wouldn't be complaining about the turn around button. It takes a little while to get used to, but it begins to feel natural. Besides, why should a fighter have to turn you around for yourself? More power to the user, I say.
And there is a very simple reason that some over drives have been removed...they would be very very cheap in a four player match. Zappa's overdrive with the super ghost? That thing cover's the ENTIRE screen.
Ky's over drive that shoots the large energy blast? you could just whip that out and kill or at least severly wound everyone of the fighters.
