Since nobody needs games, you think one can't innovate a game.
Think of 3D. Did we NEED 3D? No, but it was just so much more fun. Did we NEED more buttons on controllers? No, but they were able to develop more functions in games.
Do we NEED a touch screen? Nope, but it sure is FUN!
You don't play a game just to beat it, do you? I think most people play them for
entertainment, so touch screen mini-games are a nice addition to the gaming experience.
