LOTS OF GREAT INFORMATION!!

Tattoos:
To customize a tattoo, you must first find a tattoo parlor. The one in Los Santos is next to Reece's Hair and Facial Studio. Once you are inside, you can select the style and body part of the tattoo. Most of the tattoos will have to do with gangs (lingo and/or symbols). Most of the tattoos featured in Los Santos involve gang names, guns, and women. However, San Fierro's tattoos will feature Aztec sybmols, drug icons, and other "laid back images." In Las Venturra, on the other hand, tattoos will include things like cards, dice, and other casino-like images.

"We wanted people to be in complete control of their characters," remarked Leslie Benzies, President of Rockstar North. "If they didn't like the way he dressed, they could earn enough money to buy new clothes. The tattoo feature works the same way, only the motivation is different. If you were in a gang, you'd get a gang tattoo showing that."

Camera Angles:
Although good gameplay and graphics are essential for a great game, camera angles are just as important. Rockstar North has realized this, and they want to make the camera angles of San Andreas as good as they can get.

In San Andreas, the right analog stick will control the camera angles. This includes free moving camera both in vehicles and on foot. Using a weapon while doing so will allow you to target your enemies. Wait, it gets better! You won't have to be standing still while aiming! While aiming with the R-Stick, players can also strafe with the Left analog stick which will provide great gun battles and all-around, better gameplay.

Car Cleanliness:
Over time your car will accumulate dirt around the wheels, muck on the windshield if you drive through dirty areas, and if you don't take your car to a car wash you will find it becoming rusty. All of this is determined by how much you drive the vehicle. Also, the vehicles of NPCs will become dirty and banged up with details like broken windows, loose bumbers, and bullet holes.

Gang Tactics:
Gang members have lives of their own, whether they are in action or not. While standing around they drink, smoke, and socialize. If you bring enemies into friendly turf any gang member in sight will instantly join in to help you, if your relation is strong enough with them. Likewise, if you go to enemy gang territory they will all team up against you - and use intelligent tactics. They learn from each encounter, so while the first time you may have outrun your attackers after they shot up your car, the second time they could send members up ahead to intercept you. Gangs communicate with each other and change tactics based on the situation.

"We spent a lot of time getting that level of interaction right and making it unique," remarked Benzies. "We wanted to convey very clearly that the gangs had a certain way of communicating, very definite mannerisms, and yet had to create signs and language all our own that was faithful to the world we're trying to depict. It was challenging, but it adds a startling level of detail to the game."

-- Carjacking will be much more difficult this time. However, Carl will have a wealth of moves at his disposal, including pistol whips, kicks, punches and banging heads off the dash to ensure he can 'borrow' a new set of wheels.
-- Stunts/Tricks are possible on the game's bicycles, including endos, wheelies, hops, 180's and 360's.
-- St. Brutus Motel isn't just part of one mission, it'll operate as a general meeting place throughout the game.
-- Carl can learn new fighting moves as his stat levels for each physical ability increase.
-- San Fierro's gym will be in the 'Dojo' style and will allow a totally different set of fighting techniques to be learned than in Los Santos's gym or the gym in Las Venturas.
-- CJ can defend himself from incoming hits, likely using his arms, legs etc.
-- The police helicopter's light affects the view of the action, looking into it will produce a 'blinding' effect.
-- Police will duck for cover and reappear during a fight.
-- Cops on motorbikes will fire their weapons while chasing.
-- Environments will contain a greater degree of interactivity, with trees swaying in the wind, heat haze and billboards which players can drive their cars through, of course destroying them in the process.
