I don't know where all this animosity comes from against radio play. For a lot of bands that is how they get their name out there. Yes, songs can be overplayed but the simple fact is that the radio feeds to the demographics. So if they say they want to hear a song every 30 minutes, then that is how often it will be played. I don't listen to the radio that much. But when I do, and I hear a song I like that I didn't know of ... I know that the radio has served part of its purpose.

PS: a good song for Oasis would be Champagne Supernova (i've always liked that one)


I don't have any cds for either of these bands, and I'm not sure if they're really considered new anymore. But I have songs I like from both. I am having a hard time picking one.
