Well..that ties into the "Paul is Dead" thing. Paul is wearing no shoes because he's "dead", John is the Priest, George is the gravedigger, and I guess Ringo is just a person there. Paul is also out of step with the other three. That's just from my memory, it could be wrong, but there are sites about this stuff. Here is one..
