I've taken a listen to most of his new album and only one song, "All at Sea", had a hint of rock in it IMO. The rest is straight jazz except for the last song, "Next Year Baby" which has some salsa music in it. But I don't know what constitutes as jazz so whatever...
You should listen to it if you want to test your Jazz tastes, but its nothing more than chill music for me. I think my dad would like him.
