The reason the release date has been pushed back so far, is that once the illegal version was out on the internet, other game companies got too see what they were planning to do to it. So, they incorporated all the cool stuff that was going to be in Half Life into THEIR games. So now Valve has to go back through and add MORE cool stuff just to make up for it. Man, if I was those Valve guys, I would be really pissed.
