I own a 9800pro and am quite happy with it, but I'm really a novice as far as gfx cards go. From the opinion of this outsider, Nvidia vs ATI really seems like a Ford vs Chevy thing. They both have their strong points and neither is vastly superior, but people have a strong attachment to one brand or another.


I've also noticed that people who like AMD chips tend to like Nvidia cards and people who like Pentiums tend to like ATI cards.
