I'm not sure if you are talking about Ralph Nader (who is an independent) He was the another candidate who ran last year and some believe he stole some of Gore's votes, but Buchanan probably stole votes from Bush as well last year. I'm pretty sure that Howard Dean (was running for democratic nod, exited fairly early after some poor preliminary showings) wanted to get of Iraq immediately because he never agreed with the war in the first place...I think Kucinich would have as well, but he never had much of a following or a chance.

I don't like Kerry or Bush as candidates really. I'm still considering voting for Nader at this point.
