I remember we used to take the same bus home and everyday he would tell me about the coaches refusing to give him a chance. All the time. Every single day. And if you ever seen the way he looked in pads, or ran, you'd keep him off the field too. Annoying as hell. So I can't necessarily say that what they did to the kid was wrong especially since it was reported that even the kid who carried around the team's bags got an award. These things happen.

Sheesh. You've probably never failed at anything in your life.

Perhaps constructive conversation, criticism, and suggestions would have been in order for both cases.
