To be fair, we have witnessed evolution. Dog breeding. Although this isn't natural evolution. It's more of a selective evolution. People pick the genes they want from certain dogs and breed them to have puppies with the best genes from the dogs they breed. This is how many new breeds of dogs have been made. Although so far the effects have mainly been appearance altering. But some breeds have changed physically (size, leg power, etc.).
Evolution is the passing on of genes that allow animals to survive the longest. Over time the animals change. Dog breeding is pretty much the same thing. Although dog breeding is selective so the genes that the breeders find to be the best are passed on.
