The Monthly fee is $13, and starts the second month, with Playonline you get much more than just FFXI though.

Woah. That's a lot cheaper than I thought it was. I looked up a keyboard and network adapter on amazon and they were both twice the price what you listed. So, that's about 150 dollars all together...At the end of this school year, I recieve a check in the mail for 250 dollars for being a TA in my high school's geometry class. I'm going to be able to get this game and have 100 bucks left.
