Problem Solved!
I think working for Earthlink helped me think of this. I just cleared the cache in firefox and the problems went away
I can see the sub-menu under Quick Links again, give rep, manage attachments, etc...
But I wonder if it was some weird cache bug or something that firefox might've gone weird on since I had the same problem pop up at work after awhile. meh, oh well. At least I can stop using IE again for a few things.
