Alone I don't think that any of the LotR movies should be Best Picture, but if it's going to one of them, it should be RotK.

I think they should just give LotR some kind of lifetime achievement award. I understand that RotK might get the award as a testament to the greatness of the trilogy, but Master and Commander or Seabiscuit deserve best picture over RotK.
