I don't think the person would've returned to the sites to argue with the members over the death, if I were informing of someone's death, I would just make a thread and then proceed on to the other sites, I'd be be too sad over the loss to waste time arguing with online people over it's authenticity.

But since someone dies everyday anyway, I'll offer my condolences to those who've lost someone today.
