Default Re: I saw the matrix-spoilers

Do you guys realize that a part of Neo is still inside the matrix at all times? I dunno, I thought more people would catch this. Neo can see anything outside the matrix that is still connected to or controled by the matrix in some way.

That's why he could see the "orange code" outside the matrix after being blinded, and that is why he could manipulate things outside of the matrix.

If you didn't understand what I just said, think of it like this:

Neo's mind is both in the real world and in the matrix at the same time, the matrix may have some sort of simulation program that tells the agents where all of the machines are on the outside. Neo can see this simulation program in the real world, and by using his powers from within the matrix and destroying somthing in the simulation he is destroying somthing in the real world.

proof that what he can see isn't 100% accturate and could be in a simulation is the part where he is in a ship with trinity and a machine flew into his body.

It's stupid because the Oracle half way explains this in the game, and half way in the movie. I hope this helps you out Crash.

The part in the train station is important, but it doesn't make any sense. Neo hacked his mind in to the wrong place...

I must say that Revolutions is definently a movie for the hardcore matrix fan. People who took the time to watch the animatrix, beat the game and have a complete grip on reloaded's story (in a litteral sense not with metaphors) couldn't have been dissapointed. But I can easilly imagine someone who didn't get the full understanding of the war (with Animatrix) and someone who didn't get that one-on-one time with Niobe and Ghost not liking the movie.

I mean, The chase scene where Niobe was piloting the ship was very special to me, and seeing Ghost on the guns taking out so much so fast was cool too. People who played the game already knew what happend to Neo, and where the Logos was and how it got there.

The Animatrix just reveals that the humans are the bad guys in this situation, and it explains what happend to the sky. Seeing them get over the clouds was a special part to me too.

But I feel that the Wachowskis kind of forced us to get into a lot more than the acctual movies to understand the story, and even after all of that you have to think way too hard to get a grip on what happend. That is why I feel that the majority of people who aren't hardcore matrix won't be attracted by the story.

My opinion is that this is one of the all time great stories, and one of the all time best films, but like all trillogies, you have to have a grasp on everything to love it. Matrix made me think, and showed me somthing more amazing than any movie I have ever seen. It won't be everybody's favorite, but it's mine.
