So I just finished watching the entire real season. Can anyone tell me what was going on in the last episode? Did the Human instrumentality project actually happen? AHH!

Can someone explain me these things? I still don't get it...

But wow, isn't Evangelion great? Seriously it's a mind trip, but it was totally sweet, just the last two episodes got me.

Also... I'm not quite clear on the entire story, like where did SEELE learn about the angels? The second Impact was the explosion of Adam right, well what was the first?

AHH So many questions.

I didnt read most of your post (I didnt want to spoil anything), but I have seen the first two eps of NGE. I actually downloaded the complete first two episodes via dial up. O_O

I thought they were excellent...how did you come by to obtain all the episodes of this series?

I also downloaded the first two episodes. Not with dial-up though, you're insane. I thought it was cool, and I've always wanted to watch the whole series, but I've been too lazy to download them and right now I'm too cheap to buy the dvds.

Yeah, Human Instrumentality did happen. Both last two episodes are peering into everyone's minds until they find their so called 'meaning'. The last part shows Shinji being congratulated, which means he's found the meaning to his life, he can choose who he will become and he has learned to love himself. It shows there are many possible realities that Shinji can choose (like that one where he's a pervert)
SEELE learned about the angels through the Dead Sea
Scrolls, and yes, Adam caused the second impact.

Yes, what was the first impact?

Also where did the Angels come from? Were they just some alien lifeform or actually sent from god.

I'm going to watch the movie later tonight. End of Evangelion.

Vampyr: Andrew has all the DVDs except number 8, so I downloaded the last three eps on Ares.

Edit: Might I also add that Rei was really awesome in Shinji's alternate "Pervert" world, ha ha, so funny.

The first impact occured 65,000,000 years ago (I may be off). It's what you know as the meteor that caused the mass extinction of the dinosaurs.

You can say the Angels are from god, but you can also view them as alien life forms. Most people believe the first theory. The angels' main purpose is to fuse with Adam and thus begin the third impact (the end of the world). I loved the End of Evangelion. Great art direction.

and I think you may already know this but humans are angels too. We are the 18th Angel, and we take our form when the 3rd impact occurs and all our souls are combined. You will see that all in the movie.
