I hope Edwards does just as well as Kerry.

I only saw a bit of it, but by the polls i think i can safely assume edwards made a bigger dent than Cheney. am i right?

I didn't watch it so I can't comment.

It was definitely way more even than the Kerry v. Bush debate. Kerry > Edwards, but Cheney > Bush at debates.

I'd rather have my actualy president better, so good for Kerry.

Personally I thought Edwards got killed tonight.

YES!

This debate had direct finger pointing. This is what the presidential debates should be like.

But from what i saw, Cheney got spanked.

I had the TV with the debate going in the background, and I think I heard Cheney bring up Iraq (and Saddam in the War on Terror) and Edward counter it with Saddam was not behind 9/11 or was not involved with Al Quaduaude or whatever 10 billion times...

I wasn't half paying attention and I still wanted to throw something at the TV...

All style with a hint of substance.

I think that should be the democratic catchphrase. Even though I didn't watch the debate, I can almost guess that that is the case and so, now, people always think the democrats won cause they sounded better.

I think that's a pretty bad generalization, but eh.

I actually thought the debate was fairly split with one guy looking better at other parts, and the other at different parts. Like when Edwards kept messing up because he couldn't say Kerry.. that was just goofy. I thought Edward showed a lot of respect towards Cheney and his daughter during the gay marriage discussion. And I think Cheney showed true heart with his short reply.

I watched part of the debate, and I also thought it was too close to tell.

It was nice to actually see Cheney is alive, though. :p I havnt seen him sense Bush was elected.
