Gear Heads I have a question

Okay for all the gear heads out there I changed my brakes and they were a little tight even after I tried readjusting the calipers lets say the rest on my rotor and now they make a funny smell when I drive.. Is this normal for the brakes after the change or should I be worried ? ... I check my brakes after each drive and even though there is a burning smell there isn't any glowing metal or smoke am I in the clear argh I need help please.

I'm assuming you changed the brakes of your car, no?

If true, I remember my school bus driver telling me about it some time ago (I almost fell asleep :)) when a burning smell filled the bus, and smoke was coming out beneath the dashboard.

He said that he had just changed the brakes, and that it was normal for a few days. So I don't think think it's anything to worry about, unless it doesn't stop in a few days.

Its when the metal on the brakes( or whatever it is) being clamped while braking. I doont know, our car did that after I changed my brakes too. Dont worry about it, it just has to do with being new brakes.

Wait...but shortly after that our brakes cut out and me and my dad went sailing into the intersection. Fun times. Although we coulda died from being hit...it was awesome.

Well, a seatbelt is always good, but I don't think it would've helped Typhoid in the intersection... They've got to do something about crashes as well.
