free little FPS game.
this game isnt overly special... but just one thing is very interesting...
![]() ![]() now whats most interesting, is you coulda already downloaded it by now. its 97kb in size. some of the flash games in the arcade are bigger then that. http://www.theprodukkt.com/kkrieger.html its not a great game by any means, but at that size, and no install needed. its just very tempting to try it out. lol |
Re: free little FPS game.
It didn't start for me... :(
Nice Night Elf thingy in your sig. :D |
Re: free little FPS game.
Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX Canya.
And I tried this about a month ago. Its pretty cool for only 97kb and I found out most of the game is just run off of prebuilt textures in DirectX but its still cool. |
Re: free little FPS game.
well yea. they gotta cut every corner they can to get it that small. lol

Re: free little FPS game.
So how are the graphics so decent then? This is quite a stumper.

Re: free little FPS game.
Meh, maybe i'll try it out, what can it hurt, its not like its a huge fil that takes up all my space....Maybe i will, maybe i wont. Who knows.
+ reps for the find though.. |
Re: free little FPS game.
Bleh...runs like hell on my system when you get a few enimies on screen at once. Load times are horrendous as well. But I will say its impressive that they got it to be that small of a size...shame thats about all its got going for it.

Re: free little FPS game.
mine ran smooth untill a few minutes in. then started chopping up. and there wernt even any enemies around. got a mem leak or something.
as i said, not a great game or anything. i just liked how small it was. hehe |
Re: free little FPS game.
Your sig is definately better with the Mountain Giant in it. :D
Can you imagine that Ocarina of Time was only 32MB? (it was, wasn't it? 256Mbit = 32MB) |
Re: free little FPS game.
hmm. i had always thought it was 512Mbit / 64MB
*shrug* |
Re: free little FPS game.
No, Ocarina of Time was 32MB. I'm fairly sure that Resident Evil 2 was the only 512Mb cart (64MB) on the N64.
