Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
Just tell her how you feel; set some boundries. If she still continues to act like that, kick her out.
Simple. *shrugs and walks away* |
Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
Um...im not a genius here, but maybe you should tell her. Just say your housemate or roommate or whatever doesnt want her there anymore because she is eating all the food. If you dont tell her to f*** off ( but in a polite way) she will keep mooching off of you for a long time.

Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
Well then how do you expect to get rid of her if your not willing to do anything about it? you both know she has to leave sometime, and im pretty sure she knows what shes doing.
If your too scared or whatever to say anything, your just giving her a free ride to stay. Maybe she knows you wont tell her to leave if she cries at the exact time she asks to stay another night. Think about it, you would be alot less emotional about it if she asked you while your eating or watching TV, but if shes crying you'll feel sorry for her. And dont say " Im not here for you when you need me" thats stupid. Just say something like " I dont think its best for you to stay here right now, because i like my privacy, and i im busy alot and need some time to myself" Something like that. |
Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
if you really feel like she's an inconvenince, tell her, but don't go and say something like.."you can't stay here anymore. get the F*** out." you gotta tell her what's on your mind about her and this fix you're in with her.

Bad stuff always happens when people start to post threads about personal issues...always...

*considers the new blogs which are, for all intents and purposes, all about members personal lives and issues*

Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
I started reading the first post and I wasn't paying attention so I thought it was happydude. Then I was like, wtf happened to him? But yes, I found out the truth.
Anyway, I must be a lot more brash than the rest of you. I'd tell her exactly what's happening and that she needs to either pay for the stuff or leave. The definition of close friend doesn't entitle you to allow all your money to be sucked up. You're in uni and I'm assuming you aren't exactly loaded with the cash. I'd also let her know that what she is doing isn't exactly something that one does to another friend. |
Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
i'd allow her to stay, if she chipped in with some cash.... because i'd take a friend in if he needed a place to stay *cough* happydude*cough*, but after a week its a bit too long *COUGH*happydude*COUGH*

And as repetitive as it may sound, I have to agree with everyone else here. But think of it this way: if YOU dont like her being there, chances are your roomate doesnt like it either. For one thing, your friend is eating your housemantes food. So what I think you should do first is talk to your room mate. If both of you decide it's best for her to go, then it's always nice to have backup in a conversation like that. But, like gimpy said, you may be interested in taking her in if she will pay 1/3 of the rent or whatever. So your roommate and yourself could consider that. Or you could just get angry and yell at her and try to get some sense into her head. Sometimes that's the best thing for some people. |
Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
i told her...in the face..i dont want her here...she started getting teary eyed..now im f***ing typing this here...refusing to look at her cry...
okay now im the mean bitch..sigh* not helping..shes not taking her stuff...shes still in my clothes.. |
Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
i've tried talking her into talking to her friend, ut she didnt wanna be mean, i even offered to talk to her myself...but she didnt want me to...i just told her everything that needed to be said...hopefully she'll get the picture...

Re: SHe JUST WONT LEAVEeee...ArrgH*
Ask her how she would feel if you were doing this to her? Have her know that she has to either make some boundaries (eating all the food, mooching other things, etc...) or she might have to leave.
