Mario 128 on what system?

I say N5. Nintendo says it's not sure. So what is it?

The DS would give some nice bonus features.. but we want better graphics and a good launch game for the N5.

I say N5 because Nintendo can't make the same mistake twice in a row by not having a Mario game for launch. It hurt them with GCN because Xbox had Halo at launch and GCN had Luigi's Mansion......

I agree. If they dont have a mario titled at launch, I will be extremely dissapointed. Luigi just doesnt cut it for me.

Does anyone have any links to where I can read some info on Mario 128 or see some screens? I havent really heard a lot about this game...and I would like to read up a little on it.

N5. And what happened to the glory days when Mario games were multiplayer? I miss those days.

New FF game - Not sure. I think Square is gonna give up on Nintendo again just with GCN. Just have this feeling they will. They need to make a game that doesnt have requirements you must have to play it. Although its good on paper, its bad if you can't meet the requirements.

Zoonami - not sure there either. Not ready enough to show? Canned? Who knows

There you have it. Nothing is known about M128.

What about that screen of about a ton of short marios running around on a white screen? I thought that pertained to Mario 128?

Re: Mario 128 on what system?

That was a tech demo for the GCN, I believe. That was just showcasing how many Marios the GCN could come up with at one time....

Err... That's weird. I just thought I remembered seeing that screen with information about Mario 128, or regarding the lack of information rather.

You might have. If they're reporting the lack of things to report, they're going to need to put something down.

I might be mistaken, but the description sounds like the tech demo.

I doubt that the tech demo was anything more than a tech demo.

I'm expecting a new Mario adventure with Luigi cooperating (thus multiplayer) with Mario.

I don't think they'll ever make another multiplayer Mario game that doesn't involve tennis, golf, or a party of some kind.

I want another Mario RPG with a full cast of Characters, Mario and Luigi : Superstar saga was fun and all, but it wasn't the awesomeness of Mario RPG.

Maybe they should do what they did with Mario & Luigi: SS for GBA, you can use Mario and Luigi to your advantage and use them separately as much as you want. Luigi can follow you but you can abandon him and vice versa, or it can be like any tactical FPS out there, and command M/L to do what you want when you want him to.

Yeah, thats a good idea.

If any of you actually read the interview at IGN with some nintendo guy (not shiggy, some other guy, meh), you would know that the new Mario game is in production for GCN, and was not shown E3 2004 because Zelda was their main focus at that show. Shiggy is very excited to show the new Mario game, and might do it at TGS in September, or if not, E3 2005.

No, I think that was dubbed 128 Marios.

N5... I would also like it to be better than Sunshine.

A 2D Mario...
