NGage.....haha.....yeah.

Anyone got one? New design or otherwise? I finally played one at EBX today. Slight problem with the way the buttons are angled. Specifically, the angle up to the right instead of down to the right, parallel to your thumb. Configuration aside, I helped myself to a round of Rayman 3. Graphics are bright and colorful but the fame rate sucks. I mean it really sucks. If the screen was any brighter the jittering would have induced a tounge-biting siezure. Oh and the screen is too small. The end.

I haven't played one yet. I have no motivation to do so unless one is presented before me. Did you get to try out the phone function also? Does the signal and reception come in as clear and pristine as the waters of Alaska?

I've played THPS on a N-Gage at my local ebgames. It sucked. The buttons felt awkward and the screen was far to small.

edit: the framerate wasn't terrible.

No unfortunately I was unable to engage the phoning capability of the ngage. They have them bolted to those medal holder thingys to keep the less favorable members of society from permanently borrowing them. I didn't want to play for long anyway because I kept thinking about all the dirty oils caked on the unit from all the grubby hands it had made contact with.

Let alone allow the piece of hardware to come in contact with your head.

Yea, I can never play games at stores for very long either. The joysticks are so loose usually, unless the booth is new. But no I havent played the Ngage, and I have no desire to.

The Ngage...is possible the most groesque thing i have seen in a while...thought the concept is good, they have no general market.

Are you talking about the aesthetic appearance?

I personally think it looks ok. Taco talking isn't that great but the actuall ngage isn't grotesque.

unless you were talking about the unit as a whole and the functionality.
