How do I find my "player ID" for the stats?

you search for your name you use then find your id.

However the stats page for 2k4 is currently down (not working), so unless you played last month before it went down your name will not have been recorded.

They should have it working again soon tho i'd think.

if you get a good ping there, I play at the T5K server, they have thier own stats page on thier site from thier own server. :) im in the top 30 there, i was like 15th but i dont play as much as them so its hard to keep up.
