Josh Hartnett as Gambit in X3
 

I've heard rumors going around that in X3 Magneto brings in his other henchman Gambit, which then in turn joins the X-men. He will be played by Josh Hartnett....

But I also heard another rumor that he will be played by Christian Bale.

But in worst cases.... I made a Photoshop render of Josh as Gambit....

Argh. A Hollywood pretty boy shouldn't play Gambit. The should get a french pretty boy to do it.

Someone once told me I look like Josh Hartnett. Someone else who was present said I didn't. The first person said its the eyes that are similar.

Olivier Martinez could be a good Gambit but there isnt anything bad about Hartnett.

I think that Chrisitian Bale has his hands tied up with another superhero at the moment.



As for X3, I believe it's due in 2006.
Spider-Man 3 is due on May 5th, 2007

As for Gambit, interviews with the director have indicated that Gambit will only be making a small appearance because his attitude is too similar to Wolverine's and his power too similar to Cyclops.

His words, not mine. For some reason I wonder if this guy even knows Gambit's powers... Shooting a concusive beam from your eyes and charging objects with explosive power by touching them seem somehow different to me - maybe I'm wrong.... :D

Some people who aren't as in tune with the comics may think like that. It's alright, though. Once people start demanding more Gambit, they will have to deliver.
