X-Box VS GCN (can't decide what to get!!)
 

Here's the deal...

X-Box launches in 5 or something days in Europe, while the GCN is coming out on may the 3rd.

'll be able to save up 700 Euros, by May 11 (my birthday)

I don't have broadband, and unlike many people I view the hard-drive as a totally useless accesory.


Although the X-Box has more games that appeal to, and the first 4 months (if I purchse the GCN) I'll only have 2 games that appeal to me. (Extreme G3, THPS3)

While the X-Box will have (No I'm not getting Halo because I hate using a controller in FPS)
Jet Set Radio Future(love this game on DC)
THPS3
SSX Tricky

games that might turn out like crap (I doubt it)
Project Ego
Rocky
Duality (GOD THIS RPG LOOKS SIMPILY AMAZING)


As for Nintendo games (if I get a GCN) I'll rent RE (not fan of the seires)
buy
Star Fox
Eternal Darkness


Moneky Balls, Waverace, Luigi's Mansion IMO are not good investments. Also Rogue Leader 2 (too hard).

Well for you, it sounds like Xbox would be better.

It has more games out there now available for you, and even more in the future.

That's true but never forget X-Box costs 480 Euros and the GCN is 250 Euroes... That's the only reason I was consider a GCN.

I had a PS2 but it died, so I send it to the repair center and sold it afterwards. I know I might get bashed for this but the PS2 is dissappointing IMO. I mean no 60Hz support for PAL regions, and crappy conversion. Games that push it to the limits (Jak & Daxter, Soul Reaver 2, Silent Hill 2) simpily are dissappointing.

The DC has better texture quality, and because the limitng 4 Vram all the textures are low resolution, blurry and washed out. Rather sad, although it did have some great games.

If I didn't have a DC I would be missing out Sonic Adventure 2, and Skies Of Arcadia and I would get a GCN. But The GCN doesn't have too many games that appeal to mean, but the X-Box is too expensive (430 US dollars if converted from Euroes).

Damn hard to choose... but I reckon I'll mostly likely have a X-Box if I gather enough money, and if I don't I'll have a GCN.

Getting X-Box no matter what... my dad agreed to buy it for my birthday.

So you get an Xbox for free as a gift, and you can buy a NGC -- best of BOTH worlds :D

The money I have I use to buy 4+ games for the Box... then I'll see if it worth buying the GCN.

SSBM I don't like all these Nintendo games.

But I like Perfect Dark, Metriod, Starfox.

But I will have to kill myself if I miss out Jet Set Radio Future (favorite Dreamcast game) and if I miss out Morrowind and Project Ego.

Also I don't have a DVD and the X-Box is a very good DVD player so it's pretty obvoius that the X-Box suits my tastes better than GCN. But I just wish the X-Box didn't have that damn Hard-Drive... so useless and expensive.

I did... it took me 3 mintues hope it looks as good as the GCN one I had.

Yeah, it still haas THPS in it, so it's all good :D

But I had a different THPS3 sig...
