Pakistanis May Be Near al-Qaida's No. 2

Quote:

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Pakistani troops believe they have surrounded al-Qaida No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri in an operation near the Afghan border, three senior Pakistani officials said Thursday.

The officials told The Associated Press that intelligence indicated the Egyptian-born al-Zawahri, Osama bin Laden (news - web sites)'s top deputy, has been cornered in an operation that began Tuesday in South Waziristan involving hundreds of troops and paramilitary rangers.

"We have been receiving intelligence and information from our agents who are working in the tribal areas that al-Zawahri could be among the people hiding there," a military official said. "All of our efforts are to capture him."

An intelligence official and senior politician in President Gen. Pervez Musharraf's government both confirmed the account. All spoke on condition of anonymity.

It's just a matter of time until they all are caught.

You'd think after being on the run for over a year now, they would've LEFT that entire region and went to say Russia or something.

But yeah, just a matter of time. Just depends on what happens in the process of getting to that capture.

Have you ever been to Europe?
I only hear that type of response less than five percent of the time.

Two things I want to happen

1. The Al-Qeida guy is caught easily.
2. CamFuBot learns how to stop being so insulting.

They could ahve had hi, already by now if they focused on Al Qaida instead of going into Iraq.
