Casting Call: Street Fighter Alpha
This is not a confirmed or offiical post about a Street Fighter Alpha movie. But I decided to come up with a list of people who would make perfect actors/actresses for an Alpha movie. With the help of Dark-Samurai, I came up with the following:
Ryu: Marc Dacascus (Crying Freeman,Cradle2Grave and of course Brotherhood of the Wolf ~Canyarion) Ken: James Marsters (Buffy Vampire Slayer, Angel) Chun Li: Shu Qi (So Close, Transporter, Gorgeous) Sakura: Vicki Zhao (So Close) Guile: Dolph Lungren (Rocky IV, The Punisher)' Blanka: CGI Character M. Bison: Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) Fei Long: Jackie Chan Guy: Jet Li Cammy: Stacy Kiebler Balrog: Mike Tyson, Booker T, or Mark Henry Vega: Some spanish man, opinions needed... lol Sagat: Tong Po *bald* (Kickboxer w/ Van Damme) Dan: Ekin Cheng (Man Called Hero, Twins Effect) Akuma: Bolo Yueng (Double Impact, Blood Sport) Yun and Yin: Andy Lau Anymore needed? If you guys agree then go for it, and if you think someone else should be someone else, then by all means, this list needs all the help it can get. |

Hm nice idea... but remember that Guile was once played by Van Damme. :p
Oh yeah, you forgot that Marc Dacascus was also in Brotherhood of the Wolf.. I was so bold to edit your post. :angel: ;) I don't really know fight-actors... :unsure: |

The original cast was better. Raul Julia.. Van Damme.. Kylie Minogue.. man, nobody plays a better Cammy than Kylie Minogue...

I wouldn't touch the original Street Fighter either. But in Alpha the character sprites are sugar coated, therefore we must sugarcoat the actors.
Maybe Van Damme could play Guile AGAIN, and Kylie could play Cammy....i didn't think of that when I was doing this list. I just thought Van Damme had too much of an accent to be a US Air Force Captain. We'll edit the list a bit... Cammy: Kylie Minogue or Stacy Kiebler.. Guile: Van Damme or Dolph Lungren Lets let the posters decide... Oh and Raul Julia is dead so ... can't get him back... |

Are you a buffy fan, ProjectEden? 'Cause Angel was in the last casting call, and spike is in this one. *Buffy fans unite* :D
Anywho, looks good, but I'm not an avide Street Fighter gamer, so I dont know who a lot of these people are, although I do know some of them. |

I am a tried and true Buffy fan, Vampyr... and it killed me to see Spike die that way... I mean geez... wtfwt...
I wanted to see Spike in herit like.. a mystical power.. LOL SUPER SAIYAJIN SPIKE! j/k... Well I thought Angel would've made a good CHARLIE, and I thought Spike would've made a good Ken... They both know Martial Arts somewhat... in a sense.. |

hmmm, heres my idea:
ryu: marc dacascus (i agree, he would make a good ryu) ken: i figure spike would make a good ken, but he'd have to buff up a bit...he looks quite scrawny chun li: maybe lucy liu sakura: the girl from crouching tiger hidden dragon, i forget her name Guile - van damme (although he'd make an even better charlie, IMO) Blanca: they should actually train an ape to do it ;) Bison: not dwayne johnson....totally wrong for the role.....not sure who though...possibly arnie Cammy: heidi klum, i say Balrog:since he did such a good job in Ali, will smith may be able to do it aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...
