Firefox question....
maybe its because im tired, but i reinstalled firefox. and for the life of me i cant seem to find where to set it to Open links in a new tab... instead of opening them in a new window.
where was this option? [EDIT] i found an extention that works....but what baffles me is that i didnt have an extention for this before and it worked fine. wheres the normal option for it? |
Re: Firefox question....
If I was at home right now, I could tell ya because I did it without needing an extension. But the comp. Im on at work has Mozilla and not Firefox. If no one says where before I switch to other side of building and I think the other comp. has FireFox on it.

Tabbrowser Preferences is a good start as Tab Browser Extensions (TBE for short) is/can be rather buggy and bloated. http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/tabprefs If you don't want to use extensions then: I use this code so the curser changes to a crosshair when you hover curser over links that open in a new window. Works in Mozilla/Firefox/K-Meleon. http://texturizer.net/firefox/tips.h..._linkcursornew Ctrl T opens a new tab right click on a link and select open in new tab and my favorite: Middle clicking link opens link in a new tab. make sure button on mouse is set as middle button. One last thing you could try is in about :config (without space)and set this as true. ( I think, I'm tired >_<) browser.tabs.opentabfor.windowopen |
Re: Firefox question....
I always use middle click to open links in a new tab. Only way I can stand doing it.
