How many songs do you have on it?

I'm thinking about getting one once I have some extra cash floating around (which might take a while because cash doesn't float around for me very often.)

I'd prolly get a 20gb one too. I only have about 300 songs in my whole collection as it is.

20 GB seems like big time overkill for only 300 songs. :\

I am planning on getting an Ipod as soon as I have the money. I will probably get it off of Ebay.

You can use the rest of the space as extra storage for other things;)

This is true. I could back up my harddrive on a 20 gig ipod.

Congratulations bobcat, hope you enjoy every second :)

Good luck with the G5 purchase also, that'd be real cool if you choose to buy one.

Quick questions:-

1) The backlit screen isn't all that clear unless you hold it at a weird angle. Is that normal?
2) The Apple headspeakers don't sound very good. Did any of u iPod users buy new headspeakers, or r happy with the standard?

1. The backlit screen should be clear, I don't why it isn't for you, your's has the blue backlight, right? Mine has the old white backlight. Not sure if that makes any difference. Maybe check the iPod discussion board at Apple.

2. I used the Apple earbud headphones once. They aren't very nice at all. I think the only reason some people wear them is for that iPod status symbol. So yeah, I just use my Sony 'street style' wrap-around headphones. They're $15 and are great in my opinion.

Figured it out.

For 1, I will go and buy some new speakers.

2. The contrast was on really low. Had to make it higher, MUCH better!

Thanks GM!
