And I don't see the big deal... it's always been in the games and it's not like it takes TOO long to happen...

The only time I find it is annoying is if I go through a door, but then realize I forgot something in the other room and I just turn right back around and watch the door open again :p

Indeed, the door creaking itself becomes excruiciating to listen to 1,000 times in a time span of 5 minutes.

I've always hated that scene.. drives me nuts.. especially when you think something big is going to happen around the corner, and you have to wait for the door to open, or to climb the stairs.

i didn't think it was true cause i thought i read that zombies could knock down doors and rush at you but maybe its just closet doors or something.

No.. the scene appears when you open any door, or go up or down any flight of stairs.. it's quite annoying.

And if you hit A and appeared instantly in another room, it would be even worse.

I like the door scene, fits into the feel of the game well.

Not quite. Some stairs you just run up.
