The upcoming Consumer Electronic Show will see the debut of another competitor in the handheld gaming market. Gametrac Group, with the backing of Microsoft, will show off its new Gametrac device at the event on January 8-11. The Gametrac boasts an advanced portable gaming experienced and a handful of other features inside a single mobile device.



Wow another one for the throne, and this one's called Gametrac and with a little help with Microsoft it'll be sure to be blown out of the water.

Indeed. That's really too bad. Now not only do I have to worry about what fricken console to buy. I have to worry about if it's going to fricken link up to the fricken portable I fricken buy...

Sorry. That's out of my system now. But seriously. This is rediculous. I don't even know what to say. Good for Microsoft? Perhaps. Bad for the handheld market, though. I have to say. I think Sony coming out with a handheld was enough competition to grab Nintendo by the balls and make them realize they really have to make a worthwhile handheld system.

I must say it looks cool.

But this REALLY SUCKS! Used too, I didnt miss out on any portable games, because they were all available for one system. Now they will be divided up among THREE! I say we ONLY buy the next Game Boy, and hope that the Microsoft one and the Sony one sales extremely bad, and they just give up and bow down to the Game Boy.

Really looking at it, they really limited themselves. All it's got is an 8-direction D-Pad? Doesn't the PSP have analogue?

Don't be fooled by it's shiny surface, that'll scratch off very easily and you'll be left with a crappy looking handheld.

Not to me. If I'm going to be getting god damn ads from a HANDHELD GAMING "thing", I DONT WANT IT.

I've decided I'm never buying more than one type of system...

One console and one handheld... all you need to be happy.
