I hate you Return of the King
 

I have never played a game that has made me as angry as Return of the King. First of all. The pressure sensitive movement hookup is so terrible. You can't run unless you're almost breaking your analog stick.

AND IT'S SO GOD DAMN HARD!!!

I was playing on easy and the game wsa still so frustrating that I almost punched myself in the face. What I did do was bite my hand really hard. There's no lives so if you die you get sent back to the start or the half way check point. And you die a lot. Because the game is so unfair and very unforgiving.

It's a shame because there's a lot about this game that is probably great. But I can't get past the second level to see it because the game is so hard that it makes you hate life.

If nothing gets on your nerves and you are super calm, then go ahead and rent the game. But if you get frustrated easily, DON'T RENT IT! It's the most frustrating thing I have ever put in my Gamecube.

I have to take a break from it now before I have an annurism.

Go to Hell EA!

I'll admit, the game is somewhat difficult(as those hack and slash type of games go), but Im in the middle of a rental, And im 40% through I believe, according to my load screen. Go pick up Viewtiful Joe or F-zero, and find out the sheer ignorance of your words. There are plenty harder games out there on the Cube.

One of the hardest, but best games ever. I love this game, and it was uberhard. But there is a fine line between flustrating and difficult. LotR: Return of the King sounds more flustrating than difficult...

MMT was just difficult, and because of its difficulty, it was also rewarding.

I'm not denying the fact that there are harder games the ROTK. And you don't need to call my words ignorant. And i'm actually really good at most games. I haven't gotten past the second level because i get frustrated and stop playing. It's less fun than it's worth.

I know what you mean Dyflon. Some games are so diffucult that it takes away from the fun factor of it. The first games I have ever played that made me mad like that was Mario 2, but when I worked through all the fustrations of it I felt like it was a good game in the end.

man, f-zero is sooo much harder...i mean, i almost threw my controller at the TV trying to beat the grand prix races on novice....thats how hard it is.

i made one of my freinds go crazy for about a week when me and him played dead or alive 2.
oh he get sooo ****ing pissed smashed his controler because i kept beating him over and over he said i was cheating and he did not talk to me for over a week.
it was funny as hell

Through careful study of my fellow video gaming companions, I have learned that in general, video game players need Anger Managment in direct proportion to the amount of games they play.

I don't usually get mad when I play games though. That's the thing. I never once got angry when playing F-Zero even though it was crippilingly hard. I never once got mad at Stuntman which is one of the most frustrating games in the world. ROTK rubs me the wrong way.

Well im well over half way through ROTK...its really not that bad...there have been a few spots that take me a few tries, but nothing too amazingly difficult...
