Does this ever happen to you?
 

I don't know if this happens to you guys but sometimes it happens to me, and I want to know what it's called and if any of you guys and girls experience it.

Ok confused ?? I'll explain.

A while back on AIM I was saying hi to BF and I was typing in how art thou and I couldn't remember how to spell thou. I strained my brain and no matter what I did I couldn't remember how to spell that one simple word. This isn't the first time it's happened and I just want to know how many of you experience this problem, I know most of my friends do.

So does this happen to guys often..come on now don't be shy. ;)

Sometimes I'll be writing along and I'll get to a word that I've had no trouble spelling in the past but for some reason is now giving me problems.

Well that happens to me all the time..And all my friends..I just feel dumb when I ask someone how to spell it..They tell you..And you are like that's it...ARGH

You know what else gets annoying..When you spell a word.. You look at the word and no matter how you look at it..It llooks wrong.. so you ask someones and they tell you it's right but it still looks wrong

I don't know if you have to deal with these problems as Americans but it's sometimes hard to remember a simple word in a foreign language. Like you're speaking French or English and you just can't remember the word. And then somebody else has to correct you and you're like 'of course :rolleyes:'.

That used to happen to me all the time. Words such as "what" and "was". Then with some words I would repeat them so much they would lose all meaning and it was all just very weird...

Lol, used to happen to me all the time while writing, now it happens when im talking too...:eek:

That happens to me sometimes, but not often. The worst is when it is a little word, like thou. Hell, up until now I thought it was spelled though.

Yeah that happens to me sometimes.....its always some stupid word too like cheeze :eek: whoops....cheese

sometimes if i look at a word over and over again, the spelling look all weird, and doesn't make sense although it is spelled right

That happens all the time. But most of the time it happens when Im trying to think of a word to say in real life.

I cahnge the order of the first letter, for example:

Can you spease pass the palt?

I once forgot how to spell the. I don't know why but I could not spell it for the life of me.

I dunno about not being able to spell words, but I have had problems with thinking a word looks wrong after looking at it for a long time. Its really weird how that happens. I just make sure I don't look at my own writing a lot.
