Why can't I can't play .wmw files?
 

They used to work perfectly, but after my 1 month basic training (I was away from home, so it's not my fault :)), I came back to find that I see a messed up frame every 10 seconds.

The sounds are fine though. I thought it could be because I use Media Player 7, but it's the same at school, with MP9.

Would anybody know the reason?

What only 1 month? Basic training? Well, it's a military medical school, so I'll really be training for the next 6 years. Besides, we'll be going to camp for another 2 months in the following years. And nobody's trying to make me a marine.

Anyway, does anybody know what I could do?

Maybe try the message forum things at microsoft.com.

There are lots of Windows nerds there who hang around there all day helping you out with stuff and whatever.

I don't think you can just email them. Their help system thing is totally screwy and hard to figure out. I believe the replacement type thing for emailing them is using their newgroup message board things, which work very nicely.

Use those.

You can send them e-mail to like support@microsoft.net or something like that.. They auto reply and then send you a real message..

Try uninstalling and installing it again.
