GameTavern - PS2 Headset...

Does it work with every or most games? like EA sports games or right now in particular... SSX 3 ?

i'll prolly buy one either way. just wondering if its gunna work with majority of the games or not.

It would probably say it on the back of the game case if it supports headsets. I don't think there are many games that support it yet, but developers will probably start using them in most online games (at least I hope so).

Like DM said, it varies from game to game. Not all current PS2 games support it since the headset only came out a little over a year ago or so.

i found my name on the top 100 for the super pipe. And the game it got the score from i didnt even try for high score because i didnt know it kept track. i ended it on purpose because the other dood was done and i was 300,000 points above him already, with just under a min left. I didnt want to make him suffer.

so this weekend i plan on actually trying to get some high scores. :)

And i gunna wait for the headset from sony EB lists and comeing out Nov 4th. i dunno what the diff is.

And this weekend i need to find my self a CHEAP usb keyboard because there is no way in hell im going to sit here putting one letter in at a time each time i want to say something. Thats insane.

Just got by bud hooked up tonight, had to buy him a router to split his cable and run a new line to his basement to his PS2.

he played his first Madden game online. (i dun like football games, but it was damn fun watching him) He got slaughtered. lol. but he made a hell of a comback attempt. he was down 28-0 and end score was like 38-28 or something. Was hella fun to watch tho. :) Damn i love online games.

Online Madden is a blast. Especially if you're playing with someone cool...

I found this one guy who was a huge NFL fan...we talked about football the entire time we were playing (with the headset)...it was just awesome.

Haven't tried online SSX3 yet....just got it yesterday
