Yeah I read about it at Shadow Dragons the other day. When I get my PC upgraded I'll try it out.

Well, I sure hope that's not how the actual game runs. One second into the benchmark and it freezes.

well i can play the game with the defualt settings according to http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/benchmark.html
my low res score was 3000 and high res was like 1800 so if i want to play at max res with all stuff turned on i will have to get another video card
but as long as i can play with the game running smooth ill be fine

BTW, the benchmark won't run if:
1. You don't have Direct X 8.1 or higher installed
2. You have an integrated video card
3. You don't have enough system meory (RAM, at least 128 MB)

I have a Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card and 512MB. I'll check on which version of Direct X I have. For now I still can't get it to work.
