So I know its probably one of those common things that everyone should know:
but what does "tin roof rusted" mean in the song Love Shack?
I've heard a few suggestions in my lifetime but don't know what is right

"Tin Roof Rusted" suggests that the Love Shack hasn't been used in a while or is very old.

Once can assume from this that two or more people haven't used the Love Shack in a long time.

Yes, thats it, cause the love shack is a little old place.

but the guy says, "you're what?" and that is the reply from the girl so how does it apply to the shack having a rusted tin roof?

I've heard that it means she is pregnant, or something of the likes.
