Tough choice, but I'm going with old school pitfall harry. His new look is blech.

Sonic without a doubt.

Sonic. Hes still one of the coolest videogame characters.

Pitfall Harry is very undefined and a run-of-the-mill adventurer. Sonic, however, has ingenuity all over him. He's superior to Mario in so many ways... and believe-you-me, I think even Mario's better than Harry.

Sonikku! I remember playing the old Pitfall Harry's, and while they were fun, I can see why they didn't survive. When he came back to a sequel on Game Boy Advance, it wasn't that great. Sonic's seen more success--he's even mascot for his company, now. All-around, Sonic is the better character.
